The alarm apparently does not require it to be plugged in, as I can’t get it to stop going off even though I unplugged it last night. I wouldn’t rely on the alarm clock functioning without it being plugged in, but in my case I am trying to figure out how to stop it from going off once every hour. Awesome little gadget, but it’s very hard to find trouble shooting answers for specific issues for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery is only for temporary power if power goes out. The battery keeps the time and alarms working when power goes out. This is not meant for extended use on battery. Just as backup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The iBT232 is not a portable unit. It must be plugged into the wall at all times. The batteries are backup to keep the time in the event of a temporary power outage.
