For what it's worth I picked up mine. Prior to their coming to install. Less chance of an error

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't have to. Just came in a little earlier then the appointment with an ID and picked up the radio and went to the installation dept with it. As long as the installation date is soon, I don't think you will need to pick it up first, but if the installation date is far away you might want to pick it up because i'm not sure how long the store will hold your purchase before canceling it.
