Q: Questionhow long is work/installtiom guarenteed by geek squadI had my stereo installed by geek squad about five years ago. I have had intermittent problems with the stereo and ipod dock. It appears to be a wiring issue. Would that still be covered by geek squad for repair for free?

Q: QuestionHow much is the cost to install a cd player for the car and for wire harness and other costs, etc.?I am looking to install a cd player as a gift for Christmas and am wanting to know pricing. I know there is a wire harness to purchase as well as other costs. Can you give me pricing info so I can know how much to pay. Thank you.

Q: Questionstereo installationI have purchased an after market mount kit and prepped the stereo unit I wish to put in mounted to the kit I just need to have the wiring run from the trunk area of my car and have no idea where to run theme from so I am just looking to find out how much an install would cost me for you to finish this install. my vehicle is a 2000 Ford Taurus that I am looking to install a cd player with aux input in.

Q: Questionhead unit install luminaI have a 99 chevy lumina and there is VATS on it. I need this install to work properly, is there any adapter i can get to bypass the VATS for the stock stereo?

• A:Answer v.a.t.s. is vehicle anti-theft system. thats related to the chip on the key, not with your stereo. should be a quick install. only parts needed are 40-gm-10 antenna adapter, a GM-4001 harness and a 99-3300 dash kit. good luck

• A:Answer I faced the same issue recently. I suggest you go to the customer service desk at your nearest Best buy and explain the issue before setting up your installation appointment. Also don't be surprised if they sneak in some charges inspite of calling it a free installation. I suggest you also meet the installation team directly before the appointment to confirm if you have received all the parts required for the installation. Otherwise they will make you run from pillar to.post on the day of your appointment.

Q: QuestionWhat time does the Greek squad that installs your car parts close?? I got some things install yesterday and by time I went to pick my car back up they were close. My subs is not nearly loud still sounds like I have factory speakers in.

• A:Answer I believe it's the same price as the first time you installed it. Although they remove the radio for free after installation, I don't think that covers free installations for the life of the radio.
