Hi, I didn't realize there were different versions of the SJ7. I bought my phone in April 2017, looking at the details of SJ7 2015 vs SJ7 2016. I have the 2015 model. The speakers are on opposite sides. The 2016 the speaker is on the left side and has an oval like shape; the 2015 speaker looks like the ( = ) equal sign and is on the right side. To answer your question, yes it will fit the the 2015 version of the SJ7.

I bought the same phone (Virgin Mobile carrier) and I bought the case also. FITS PERFECT! even fell outta my pocket onto concrete. NO PROB! Definitely worth getting (looks pretty cool also) HOWEVER, when you buy the screen cover; one of the holes for the top of phone is not cut (positioned) correctly. A few seconds with an exacto knife fixed that no problem. GOOD phone.
