“Is there a hidden heating coil? Is the heating coil in the kettle exposed to the water or is it hidden? I want to know as the coil can get a lot of calcification and be difficult to clean”

• Yes the coil is exposed. And it does get calcification on it and can be difficult to clean. I just wipe it with a wet paper towel. I haven't had any issues of its performance due to this.

• It is induction heating. The heating element is not exposed and should not require cleaning.

• Coil is enclosed in metal case.

• The coil is attached to the base, its not attached to the kettle pot. It won't get damaged since it doesn't touch water.
