Q: QuestionHi. has anyone ever tried to wash a toilet seat cover? It's small and I was hoping to balance it with something else. Thanks.

Q: QuestionI use HE detergent and baking soda in detergent section. And vinegar in fabric softener section in a full size HE washer. Can I use baking soda in my wash and vinegar in my in the rinse in the portable washer? Thank you.

Q: QuestionI have had my insignia for about two months. I like to wash in hot water but when it goes into the final stage my machine turns to the cold water. Why? Also how can you empty the back lint filter. My machine is permanently installed.

• A:Answer If you are asking whether or not you have to fill, and empty the water like in other portable machines, it is not. Once you hook it up with the provided adapter and direct the drain hose into your sink or some other drainage, the washer will fill, wash, and drain the excess water on it’s own. Q: QuestionIn the Wash step (before Rinse), the machine's cylinder only slightly turns clockwise and counterclockwise to wash the clothes. It seems ineffective and I don't see bubbles from soap. Is it supposed to be like this? Just making sure it's not defective.

• A:Answer Mine does the same....that's what the new high efficiency washers are like - the soaps are low suds, my nearest laundromat has new commercial machines and they run the same with hardly any suds. My clothes are clean when I take them out of this washer.

• A:Answer If the trunk dips down then yes (like a minivans trunk), but if it’s flat no. It’s decently tall but I could easily fit it in my minivan trunk. Just keep it mind it’s 75 pounds so it is heavy to load and you’d need to anchor it some way so it doesn’t tip over.
