QuestionDrain pump became clogged, and machine would not drain. Clog removed, yet pump is now not functioning. Is there a reset button for the pump? If not, i have to assume that it's fried. Is Pump easily replaced, DYI style?

QuestionI recently purchased this washing machine for use with kitchen sink. I’ve washed 3 loads this far using the wash, rinse and spin cycle selection. Once it’s time to rinse, I notice the Rinse selection flashes for an extended time then I receive an E1 error

- Answer Hello Tinalina. I'm so sad to hear what happened to you. The error message you received indicates that there is still water in the drain. The greatest troubleshooting you can perform is to see if the lid is open. Fully open both of the faucets. Make that the water pressure is within the acceptable range. Line up the hoses at the water input. Clean the screens and disconnect the hoses (the tap filter screens can be jammed). Either reset the circuit breaker or inspect the fuse. - Answer I made my own. Very simple to do. All you will need is a piece of particle board. 1/2 inch thick 24 inches by 24 inches , some small wood screws and 4 casters. Home Depot can cut the board to the size you need. Then just sit the washer on top of the board. We'll make it a lot easier to roll.

" Personally I need to add some whitener to my wash and need to know how many gallons of wash water is used for a large load How hard is this to answer? Good luck getting anything from Insignia
