• Length is 12 inches (a foot) Yes it will work with the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 as it uses microUSB connection. Newer Samsung Tablets and smartphones use the USB C connection and this cable would not be compatible with this cable.

• If it's the new one it will. It's only a foot long but has a fast charge. Do yourself a favor, wait until they are on sale and then buy like ten of them for $25
