A:Answer It's a cable... it will perform like any other cable would with an xbox one controller. An xbox one controller uses the same Micro-USB connection as a ps4 controller, so it WILL FIT if that's your question.
Given that, it should be noted that it will only CHARGE an xbox one controller if you have the official MicroSoft play and charge kit (or equivalent rechargeable that pulls it's power from the usb port on the controller). Simply plugging a cable into the xbox one controller's usb port will not charge "rechargeable AA batteries" nor will it charge Insignia/Energizer rechargeable battery solutions that use a replacement battery door to allow the recharging contact points to make contact while the controller is sitting in a special stand or cradle.
p.s. Your mileage may vary, but in my experience, it will also power the controller itself in an emergency low battery situation...it just won't charge the battery.
