A:AnswerI am in search for a replacement remote, as well. I have seen some refurbished ones on eBay. Hopefully someone answers with a better place to order from!
A:AnswerYou may want to check your setup as it may be set as expecting display input from other unit not the dvd. If your dvd drive is not working then you can use the aux cable from one unit as an output and then use the other unit as an input. It will display the same audio and movie but at least means you can use both screens still.
A:AnswerThere is a reinforced “tray” that the screens sit in. That tray buckles around the headrest. Kind of a chinsy design but it works. Make sure that all straps are snug and the screens stay in place just fine.
A:AnswerYes, it comes with a cable so you can hook them together to watch the same thing, or you can have them each separate. It has built-in speakers, so they can listen our loud or with headphones.
A:AnswerThere is audio, but it isn't adequate for me or my kids. We thought the headphones option worked well. Try a small, battery powered speaker plugged into the mimi 1/8'/3.5 mm audio out. that way, everybody in the car could hear.
A:AnswerI don’t know about the remote but the buttons on the front are dual function. I think you have to hold the button down for play or something like that. I’ll check mine tomorrow and reply again.
