• Hi Kandy, Afraid not with this cable, you'd need a different setup entirely, likely involving a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter if your iPad has a Lightning port.

• Depends on year, they have toggle adapters you can get accommodate plugging USB flash drives in but firewire is questionable, it will of course be a slow speeds.

• yes it was as long as the usb connector is in good alignment
