• Nothing on the shredder or in the instruction manual refer to oiling the shredder. I would suggest using the sheets that are impregnated with oil periodically to help keep all the paper dust from building up.

• I have had it for less than two months but have all ready dumped three loads. I am not sure If it will need oil in the future
