• Hello there, Yeah, this cable will do the job for both as long as you've got a USB A port on your Mac or a power adapter.

• Yes, This tiny lightning cable that is used in 2020 still being used for charging peripherals on all Macs except for newest that use USB C type(for Apple)

• Yes to the iPhone 8. I don’t know about the mouse. Wouldn’t get it though unless you’re willing to make sure it stays connected to either product frequently.
