• The 8” requirement seems really suspect to me. Seems like a loophole to get out of any warranty claims. How many times have you ever seen a refrigerator with 8” clearance on both sides?! It’s unrealistic and if it seriously requires that, we should all be asking what’s wrong with this refrigerator design.

• See installation drawings, 8" I believe this is so that the door opens enough to be able to pull out crisper drawers, and also for ventilation although that seems excessive.

• It’s four inches on each side. It’s in the manual.
