Q: QuestionI have a Zoom H6 recorder that I was hoping the (1/4) attachment would plug in and I could connect to this cable. Then using 3.5 mm of the cable to plug in my computer. I do not see where the (1/4) accessory can attach to the cable? What am I missing?

• A:Answer No, it only gives you the sound, no mic function. If you are looking for the one with mic function, you should get the one that has 3 bands on the insert plug (this one only has 2 bands “left/right sound channel”)

• A:Answer The answer is as follows depending on internal configuration. Not really. The audio output is done at a fixed level as well as a fixed impedance. Ypu would need to send the audio through an amplifier to control volume.

• A:Answer The short answer is No, if you are asking if you can transmit or record your voice from your headset's microphone, as well as hear over your headset. I just bought this kit and found that it doesn't work for the mike. Some online research shows that to use the mike, you need a so-called 4-pole cable, which has 3 stripes across the plug's metal, one between each "pole" / section of metal. This is a 3-pole cable with 2 stripes. Best Buy doesn't really sell any 4-pole male / female cables. You'll have to find them online for shipping, it seems.
