Well, if you get the 6’ cable, like I did, you’ll be able to extend whatever usb cable, that ends with a Type-A male USB plug, up to 6 feet. Your extended cable will work exactly the same as your original cable. This cable connection is solid; INSIGNIA makes quality cables. :)
So, extending a 3’ compatible usb cable (iPhone cables used to end with Type-A male USB plugs) with this will give the cable a 9’ length.
