QuestionThe description says garage ready when in freezer mode 0 to 110 / will the refrigerator work in the 0 to 110 temp range / don't need the freezer I need the refrigerator to work in my garage with that temp range of 0 to 110 / this is on the 13.8cu ft insig

- Answer This will work for you Phil. You just need to choose the temperature mode you want. You can basically have a refrigerator or a freezer, but not both.

QuestionI have two (a fridge and a freezer) and they work great so far. The installers didn’t put the handles on. I’ve read the directions in the setup guide and the hex screws are too small for the hole so they won’t screw in place. What can I do?

- Answer I would imagine it would depend on how FULL the freezer is and how long the power is out. I try to keep it as full as possible (freezing bottles of ice if necessary) and when I know power has gone off, I stuff blankets or pillows in and around the food, condensing to as few shelves as possible to help keep them frozen. Then DON’T open the door again until power comes back on so the cold stays in there as long as possible

Doing so can cause the compressor oil to flow into the cooling lines, which can damage the freezer and affect its performance. For the safest transport, it's best to keep the freezer upright. You can do this by pressing and holding the "Lock" button for three seconds. Once the control panel is unlocked, press and hold the "Freezer/Fridge" button for three seconds to switch modes. The light on the control panel will indicate whether you are in freezer or refrigerator mode.
