Yes. I usually just break the seal a bit by putting my finger between the fridge and the rubber seal around, careful not to damage the rubber strip. Opens easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OPEN EVERY TIME
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We experienced this problem (door very difficult to open every time) with the temperature of the freezer set at 0 degrees. When we changed the temperature to 5 degrees, it became much easier to open. We actually did pull the handle right off trying to open it before we learned to increase the temperature!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The door being hard to open is an indicator that the compressor is working well. When you go to get something out of the freezer you allow warm air into the cabin. When you close the door the compressor sucks out all of the warm air to replace it with cold air and bring the freezer back to the desired pre-set temperature, creating a vacuum and making the door hard to open TIP) .Applying slow, steady pressure when opening will keep you from tearing up the seal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is the same way. We use one foot to brace the bottom every time we open it. But I like that as it assures me that there is a tight seal on the door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased this freezer and find the same problem. I pull the door open from the recess at the top. I don’t want to pull the handle off.
