• A:Answer Adjusting the feet underneath the freezer usually stops any sliding. According to the manual, the front should be higher than the back.

• A:Answer I just got two Insignia 17cuft garage ready convertible fridge/freezer units. I got one to use as a fridge, and a second to use as a freezer. It is important to note that the display on the front shows the temperature the unit is set at, NOT the actual temperature inside. You need to get a freezer thermometer to put inside the unit so you know the actual temperature. The Insignia unit I use as a freezer is SET to minus 5 and cools to between minus 3 to plus 2. It never gets down to the minus 5 setting - that's why I set it at minus 5. The unit I use as a fridge will not cool to safe fridge temperatures and will likely need to be returned. If yours is thawing food at a zero setting, it will probably need service or have to be returned. It's disappointing.
