Yes. It can depend on where you live etc. I MOSTLY use Over-The-Air TV and have an antenna on this tv. I am using an old RCA antenna in the room this small TV is in... but the reception in different rooms in my house is different. In my house, each room may give better reception with different antennas. Since I live in Philadelphia, all the TV stations are within a 2-mile radius of the city so a minimal 30-mile range MOHU LEAF antenna gives me the best reception. I have a few TVs and the best reception comes from the basic flat lowest-priced Mohu Leaf. I have a few and the more powerful Mohu leaf antennas don't work as well since the best stations are all very close to the city - which is what they told me when I called and spoke to them at the Mohu Leaf company. MORE powerful can work against you when this city has all the stations in close proximity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using it with rabbit ears in a suburban area about 15 miles line-of sight to most of the TV transmitters. It picks up about 40 channels clearly with breaking up, freezing, or "going to tiles" most of the time. The antenna is in front of a window. In other words, it gets as good reception as one can expect from the ATSC digital broadcast system.
