Yes, change the sound output on the TV to PCM. Had the same problem and that fixed it.

Please try again later.If you use the optical connection you will need to set the HDMI and Audio format found usually under Additional settings to PCM remember both need to be set to PCM or it will blare out a very loud sound if they are set to Bit Stream when using an optical cable.
