- Answer This soundbar/subwoofer system unfortunately doesn’t have an hdmi connection. If your tv has a digital optical audio out then you can use that for sound and it works perfectly. Hope that helps!

- Answer I googled "Insignia 2.1 soundbar remote code " and got ths answer in about 2 sec: Use the following 3 and 5 digit remote codes. Insignia Soundbar 3 Digit Remote Control Codes: 589, 538, 539, 751 I would try these.

QuestionI want this mainly to watch movies. I have an LG tv and when watching movies or things I have recorded it is sometimes very hard to understand what they are saying. Will this take care of that problem.

QuestionI have the insignia NS-SBAR21F20 2.1 channel sound bar hooked up to my Panasonic tv through optical cable. No sound is coming through sound bar and the green light (digital optical) is blinking. Anyone know why it’s doing that?

- Answer It could be that in the setting of your T.v the Digital Audio output is not set to PCM.

QuestionI have connected the soundbar to our TV (Toshiba 50" Fire TV), and I cannot find an audio PCM setting anywhere on the TV audio settings. The sound works, but I have to control to volume using the separate soundba remote. Is there something I need to do?

- Answer Try to go Home > Settings > Display and Sounds > Audio Output > Turn TV Speakers OFF and Select Digital Audio Format PCM.

- Answer Yes it could connect. The one that I bought in the beginning not problem connecting wireless with subwoofer, after two days was not working properly. Sadly I returned it to best buy, ending buying a Samsung T510 better sound as well no issues connecting, add surrounding speakers, amazing sound.

- Answer Yes, you would connect the 3.5mm jack on the console side and the red/white rca jack on the bar side ... also as a work around you definitely could plug the 3.5mm jack into your controller. See ya on the BF :)

QuestionHow do I restart the sound bar . My bass is too loud

- Answer There is a bass button on the remote. When you press it the sound bar should start to blink and then you can use the volume up and down buttons to turn base to desired sound. If that doesn’t work if using Bluetooth mode unpair it and then pair it again. If your using any other mode I suggested unplugging the device for a few minutes and then plug it back in. I hope this helps.

- Answer The cables for the soundbar to work are included. There’s is an option for an optional cord with better sound, I just don’t remember what it’s called. With what’s included, I like the sound with the standard setup.

- Answer I imagine that depends on the capabilities of your remote. I am unaware of any manufacturer codes for this sound bar (would be nice if such a thing existed). If your remote has a learning mode you should be able to point the sound bar remote at it binding the "learned" signal to a button.
