• Should work fine. Samsung device is standard SATA interface and is the right size to fit into the enclosure. I used one for exactly the same task.

• Yes it will. But why don't you spend a little extra money to install an SSD drive instead? You will get way better speed. I am currently doing this on my Mac Mini which has a 500gb 5400rpm drive. Id say safely that the computer is now 2x as fast, and all tasks are much more quick at launching. Reboot/Boot time is <20 seconds

• Yes its a sata and 2.5 in drive so it definitely does fit the enclosure. Should work with out any problems.
