• As long as it can be level, however it is not leak-proof and not totally water tight.

• We have ours on carpet. You have to adjust the feet to level the frig, and it's a little tricky to get it high enough for the door to not drag on the carpet. We haven't had any leaks or noticed any stains, but we've only had it set up for about a month.
