Please try again later.Joseph My onboard SSD was not working and certainly was not large enough so Geek Squad used this connector to hook up a 2TB Samsung 870 QVO SATA 2.5" Quality and Value Optimized SSD for me. The model MZ-77Q2T0B/AM SSD has a read speed up to 560MB/s and a write speed up to 530MB/s. "Q" vs "E" look to be the only obvious difference between what you question asked and any information I can offer. However, I am not sure what "Q" and "E" signify. I cannot imagine them designing a similar but slightly different SSD that would require its own cable format because, to me it seems doing so would or could make the hard drive harder to sell. I could be wrong though. I have seen odder maneuvers; but not in the last say 10yrs or so though. In the last 10 yrs or so, interchangeable peripherals has become the preferred method or approach. v/r Astra
