It's not horrible but definitely not my preferred chair to sit in when not massaging. The high sides make it difficult to reach drinks and remotes and sometimes the mechanism can be felt depending where it ends in the cycles. It's an excellent massage chair for the price and is easily my favorite new product. Buy it for that and you'll be happy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you don't have the space to have as just a massage chair and have to replace a regular recliner its ok but it isn't the most comfortable for extra long periods of time. Being the middle section of railing is hollow where rollers go up and down but I'm a heavy guy ..so may be different for others but it is an awesome massager you will not regret buying it if you do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not really a chair to be used as a substitute for a recliner since a recliner would be more comfortable to sit on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A lot of it depends on the massage chair you have purchased. But by and large they do have a hole along the back where your spine goes. A great option would be getting a seat pad and there are back pads as well. As long as it matches or you have a cover that goes over your chair shouldn't be a problem at all. You could use just a basic pillow that you keep nearby and throw in so that you can sit in it. Even perhaps a blanket that is nice. Can hang over it and block that hole where your spine sits. You'd still want padding on the sit portion because they are not typically plush.
