Set it to 5 or more and it will reduce it but not eliminate it and it will eventually build up and you will need to defrost it and let it completely dry itself out for a couple days, then start over.

Between us we had 4 kids that were in and out of the refrigerator a lot. I thought it strange that after 5 days of camping there was no ice build up. We did have it turned up on 7 which was to high. We got ice on our tomato.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you are getting the door closed and sealed so it wont condensate on the inside. Every time the fridge is opened it allows warm air to mix with the cold air inside, creating condensation. Limiting the warm air inside will decrease the condensation inside. If that condensation is freezing, you may want to turn it down.
