Probably not. The manual says that the freezer requires its own dedicated outlet to keep from overloading the circuit. It also mentions that you should avoid extension cords and surge protectors.

Please try again later.Without being familiar with the electrical wiring in your home, I can only share that we would feel comfortable plugging it into the same outlet in our laundry room. I cannot imagine that it would require more electricity than either the washer or dryer that are currently sharing the outlet in our home. I would, however be concerned about placing it next to our dryer, due to the heat it releases when in use.
