QuestionReplaced a 6-yr old Rocketfish switch with this one. Now, non-selected devices lose the HDMI connection and think it's gone. Apps displayed are moved to another monitor. Is this expected? Shouldn't the switch maintain a connection with all devices?

- Answer That should work. Keep in mind that you'll have to manually select on the Insignia which "input" you want to use--only one input at a time. I use it to switch between to different gaming systems.

- Answer This will work just fine with any hdmi cable. Premium cables work better, but you don’t need them. Any hdmi will do.

- Answer This switch worked great with my older Visio (not so smart) and brand new Vision smart TV. 3 separate inputs. Just need to select the one you want at the moment. See no reason this would not work for you.
