A:Answer YES.....even if it is not on dry. However, it will not let you know/ give an indicator (FL) unless on dry. Mine started spitting water from the front. I switched it to dry and immediately got (FL) on the screen and it shut off. Best buy doesn't include a user guide with it, only a set up guide. I had to go online to find out what was going on. So on page 23 it tells you to use a syphon to get the water out (guess what Best buy doesn't sell one even though it is required to empty it). I bought a Frigidaire the same day I bought this one. I bought a dehumidifier hose for that one, screwed it on and let it drain out of the window next to outlet vent. EASY. Still trying to figure out a solution to this one since I am not physically able to unplug, disconnect the vent hose, and syphon the water (clean up afterwards) every time it needs empting.
