Q: QuestionFor the love of god does it have apps?If this product has apps what are they

• A:Answer No, my friend only "smart" tvs have apps. This is a 720 resolution tv with a built in dvd player only. No smart tv interface, but you can still connect to it with your computer, or streaming devices like roku or chromecast or apple tv thru the connection ports provided. ( which will get you all the apps you need ) hope this helps, when you search, click the button on the left that says "smart tv interface" and it will show you models that have apps built in.

Q: QuestionIs there difficulty switching input from DVD to TV (and visa-versa)?I am considering purchasing this for a very tech-challenged elderly. She currently has an LCD TV and separate DVD component. I have done EVERYTHING to simplify the process to switch back to cable once she has finished watching a DVD. Sadly, TV is her main entertainment since she is chair-bound and she is a movie addict! She has no problem putting in the DVD, as the TV will automatically switch the input...which I read in the manual, that is how this Insigna TV works, as well. It's when the movie is over that she can't change the input back to her cable box, and I wonder if that will be the same with this TV. She holds the input button and it just scrolls continually. Eventually she lets go and ends up on the wrong input and can't watch anything. I've tried an RCA switch so she can switch at the push of a button but she can't comprehend that she has to have the cable box off if she watches DVD and visa-versa. I am looking for a simplified setup!! Can this be it? Sorry for the lengthy question. Any advise is recommended.

• A:Answer The TV will automatically change to the DVD input when a disc is inserted, just as you stated. To change back to her cable she would need to press the input button once to bring up the input selection screen. Then use the arrows and enter button to select the correct input. The TV has auto input sensing, which is a feature that only allows you to select an input that is receiving a signal. This means that when you pull up the input selection screen, only two options should ever be highlighted, those being whatever input the cable is on, and the DVD.

• A:Answer Make sure you are inserting the DVD in the correct way. On ours, we have to put the DVD in with the label facing away from us, not towards us.

Q: QuestionProblems putting on standsCan I get some guidance on putting on the little stands that are supposed to hold the tv. I have tried to put them on but the TV is still insecure. It does not seem like they snap on, they are just placed in the holes but not secure, I can pick the TV up right out of them, they are not secured in, unless I am doing something wrong. Please help, I don't want the TV falling and then broken.
