“Does this have an ionizer or is it strictly a HEPA filter air purifier?”

• Thankfully not. Ionizers create ozone, which leads to harmful, carcinogenic air pollutants. Indoor, this is a horrible idea that unfortunately doesn't seem to die. But you don't have to worry about this unit doing that.
