Why would it skip soak cycle and go straight to wash? null

Everytime you change a setting you have to reset the soak cycle and water plus cycle. That’s what I noticed. When I decided to change from quick wash to whites etc. I had to go through the set up process again. I think it has a memory lapse. Lol. Other than that it usually does everything you set it on

I’m really not sure. When I use the soak cycle it always soaks. When I use that cycle I profiling my laundry time
