“my refrigerator started emitting a dead animal smell. it is not a year old. the smell is outside not coming from within. it is clean and empty. what do i do/”

• There is a drip tray under the unit above the compressor. my fridge smelled absolutely awful. this was the culprit its directly about the compressor, mine had maggots that had just hatched. cleaned the tray and the hose out with bleach it doesnt smell nearly as bad my unit is just over 1 year old.

• Mine does not cool, eve though the thermostat wheel it set at 7 (coolest number)
