Rubber Drain hose is 1/2" ID which is pre-attached from the pump to the upper reservoir and ~3' long. Includes an additional ~40" hose to extend in into a drain, which also reduces it to 1/4". Replaced the entire length to 1/2" vinyl tubing. Neither the pump or reservoir fittings are barbed, nor are any clamps used. Pump is behind an access panel which is notched to help secure the hose in place. Installed a clamp on that connection anyway because THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE! These are little more than basic fountain pumps so not very powerful, another reason for the reducer if using the extension. And may not provide enough lift if drain pipe is too high. But omitting a 5¢ clamp is cheap and lazy. IGNORE the MFG response. They clearly don't even know the difference between a washer and dryer. @INSIGNIA STOP answering questions you don't know the answers to.
