So.... it seems that there has to be a leak somewhere - either at one of the hose connectors or it could be at the pressure regulator or gauges. I would go old-school and get a clean spray bottle, add some warm water and dish soap and spray it around all the connectors, at the bottle, the gauges and the regulator and see where the bubbles start popping up. I have the same size CO2 bottle and I've gotten about 6, 1/4 kegs off it so far on the same fill - and am still using it. On my old unit, I used to have a leak in the lines somewhere and until I found out where the leak was, I would turn tank on to charge the keg, then turn it off. there would be enough pressure in the keg to dispense 6 to 10 glasses before I would have to turn the tank on again for about 10 seconds to recharge the keg and then turn it off again. It was a bit of a pain but it kept me from running out of CO2 all the time until I found out where the leak was and fixed it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wrapped the threaded discharge nozzle of my C02 tank with teflon tape. The place I go to to get my tank filled complains about it every time, but every time the teflon tape runs thin/out my tank drains rapidly (15 pound tank, disappears in a few weeks), and every time I have good teflon tape coverage my tank lasts years in between fills. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Besides checking for leaks at every connection using soapy water, make sure you have a CO2 washer between your co2 tank and regulator. The CO2 washer (pic attached) is a hard plastic ring with a hole in it, sorta like a washer, and if you don't have one of those you will have a leak. If you have a CO2 washer then turn off your tank, vent gas pressure from your lines, then disconnect and reconnect everything and then check for leaks by looking for bubbles at every connection after spraying with soapy water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have a leak somewhere. You need to put soapy water on the various Connections to see where the gas is leaking/bublying thru. It’s not a kegerator issue
