If it's a long hose, it will take time to fill, drop by drop. I initially had difficulty connecting my 25 foot hose to the plastic male fitting on the dehumidifier. The threads on the fitting were poorly formed and water would leak from the connection. I discovered that a plastic male/female adapter connected to the hose and to the dehumidifier allowed for a tighter fit that doesn't leak. Check to make sure the connection is not leaking and then raise and lower the hose to see if water runs out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The drain hose works by gravity and this unit does not have an internal pump. Rearrange your hose so that it is lower than the the dehumidifier hose drain connector. Also ensure your hose is clean and clog free.
