• Red blinking light during charge is a result of using a Non-Fast charge power source. I have a Samsung galaxy S8+... When using the wall tap (fast charger) that came with my phone to power the Insignia wireless charger, the light is blue while charging and the phone charges quickly. When using a cheap wall tap that I got from the dollar store, it flashes red while charging and takes about twice as long to charge the phone.

• This charger used to blink red. I found a solution on YouTube. Basically, my phone case has a car phone holder magnet which was interfering with this wireless charger. I simply removed my case and then put the phone on top of the charger and voila! The light turned blue and the phone was charging just fine.
