When they say nonpolarized it is because the connector that plugs into your device can go in either way, rounded on both sides. Flip it over & plug it in & it still works just fine. If this is what your device needs then this cord is for you. Some devices require polarized connectors where it is rounded on one side and squared off on the other. Look at your device & see what "style" it needs, polarized or nonpolarized, it will only take one "style".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My sister bought our Mom a Vizio 32 inch tv - model E320-A1. I know that the part that plugs into the back of the tv will only go in one way (so if I flip it over it will not go in the opposite side) - so one side is rounded and the opposite side is more squared on the part that goes into the back of the tv. The part that plugs into the wall is only 2 prong. This looks exactly like the cord I need to replace for her tv. thank you so much! I sincerely appreciate this info - this question & answer for a Vizio tv answered my question concerning unpolarized versus polarized - thank you so very much! credit to both the person who questioned & answered!
