The output on you TV is the same as you have on your smart phone - considered a low-level output. You will need a 3.5mm to RCA adapter. They make many flavors of these - 3.5mm to RCA female (one red/one white) in a molded hard plastic, you would need to use a xx foot RCA (Male to male) cable to go from the adapter to your receiver. Or you can buy a 3.5mm to RCA (male) cable, they make them in various lengths - that would be 1 cable that plugs directly into your TV & your receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a cable that has a 3.5 mm jack on one end and RCA jacks (red & white) on the other. This is a common adapter cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are plenty of adapters that go from 3.5mm to r/w rca cables. You can get them on amazon for very cheap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you need RCA connectors for the receiver (one for left channel and one for the right channel) going into a male RCA jack (one male connector to go into the Audio Out female connector on the back of your TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Answering my own question, I now think I can use either: 1) a cable that has a 3.5mmsingle end to go into the output from the TV or set-top box and a double end, one red and one white, presumably RCA to go into the tuner, or 2) a cable with a 3.5 mm at both ends, using a 1.4" adapter on the end that fits into a socket on the front of my FM receiver. I have now done the second alternative successfully. Thank you all for offering help. Rocky
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it’s an out or input of 3.5mm you can search 3.5 mm cords where end end has a 3.5mm plug in.. but if your talking about one end is 3.5mm and then what your plugging into for audio is red and white you have to try to find a cord that has 3.5mm on one side and the other side should be red and white plug in I’m almost positive they make cords like that best of luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No that is not exactly what you need. It is possible to use that cord, but you would need to get an Adapter that would plug into the red and white outlets then comes together like a Y that you can plug this aux cord in.
