I don't think you can just hook up speakers. I purchased a sound bar and optical cable for my Vizio TV and have been very happy with the results. This allowed me to reduce alot of clutter in my living room. I moved my Harmon Kardon sound system to the TV in my family room
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to look on the back of your tv Some tv have spots for speakers to hook up but mine needed an Amp
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't know if I can be too much help here, but, I would STRONGLY recommend spending the money on a QUALITY audio- video receiver, then run the speakers to it vice your TV. The A/V receiver has a lot more "muscle" in terms of processing power plus it will allow you to listen in 5.1 Dolby Digital which is broadcasted over-the-air and cable/satellite as well, letting you enjoy surround sound which absolutely ROCKS! You can purchase a QUALITY A/V receiver starting at $500 roughly. A lot of money, yes, but as with anything, you do get what you pay for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are many options, depending on what you already have for your entertainment system. Your TV will have specific audio out capabilities. In order to connect to external speakers the audio output would have to plugin to a system which supports this audio out. In most cases this would not be a direct wire connection from the TV to say bookshelf speakers. Soundbars have multiple audio inputs which would remove the need for a receiver. Depending on age of receiver would depend on what it could support for audio in. This could be anything from Left/Right component, to Coaxial digital audio, to Optical, to HDMI (which contains audio).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For that to work you must have a receiver with Digital Audio input. Mine did not so my son brought his receiver over and we made that work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need an amp and processor or receiver that has the audio in. You can use an optical cable or audio coaxial cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, I used a digital audio optical cable, same difference to hook up a Samsung Sound bar to my LG TV. It works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately you can't add without some type of amplified speaker. My suggestion is a sound bar. Make sure it has the same connection you want to use. Any stereo with that hook up will work if there is an auxiliary hook up for music, movies etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need something with a digital audio input and then speaker connections. Now if they would only make speaker connections as easy and simple!!
