Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is 15 Amps and 125 Volts, resulting in 1825 VA. considering coefficient factor of 0.8, It supposed to handle 1500 Watts. This is the maximum load at a time. Maximal loads are not supposed to last long particularly if there is no cooling around. 1500 Watts represent 1500 Joule/second. I tried the outlets with a total load of 1000 W = 1kW for 20 minutes, and there was no extra heating in the outlets. The old types made in the 90's were either low duty (around 6 Ampere) or heavy duty with less outlets, and much more expensive.
