• A:Answer The Insignia 6 Qt. Multi-Function Pressure Cooker Model: NS-MC60SS9 has a Sear/Sauté function. Pour cooking oil into the inner pot, then put the inner pot into your cooker. Make sure that there is enough oil into the inner pot. Do not let the inner pot boil dry.
