That would depend on if you are doing non-stop shredding, in that scenario, I would guessestimate 15 minutes but if you break in between papers that could be as long as 30 minutes. Regardless, all shredders will overheat even the huge ones at work which cost hundreds of dollars.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine begins to act as if it’ll overheat after just three small stacks of papers shredded one after the other it begins to give off a burning smell and work much slower on the third shredding process which is where I’ll stop and continue on later on the day to avoid burning out the motor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.About 3 to 4 hours depending

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Continuous use, about 5-7 minutes depending on the load.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my limited experience, mine has overheated twice, and that was when I got carried away shredding a fair number of long forgotten bank statements. I found out the hard way that since it's a low volume shredder, I can only do about 30-40 sheets per session (about 5-6 minutes) before it overheats, and I also take care to insert only ONE sheet at a time, never multiples. Since then, no problems with overheating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used it to shred documents and credit cards back to back for around 10 minutes with no overheating or snags. It stopped when the bin was full. I just pushed the shredded paper down a little when it was full and it started back up.
