The button that seals the pressure and liquid might not be sealing properly. If you hear a whistling, you can nudge the button. Also the release valve might be slightly turned. Once I check those 2 things my cooker gets to temperature quickly and the food cooks just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has "less, normal, & more" pressure settings. I assume the settings are equivalent to the low, medium, high settings. I always use the default setting, but I've really never noticed a significantly longer cook time than the instant pot.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine cooks the same as what the Instapot directions call for. I think you just use the +/- buttons to adjust the time which will adjust the pressure.
