• The yellow plug is represented by three plugs, which are Red, Green, and Blue. The green plug is the base source feed, and if plugged into an A/V yellow input, it will display the picture in black and white.

• The Blue and Green input cables are used for video input, as opposed to the traditional yellow. The red and white ones are audio

• The Red/Blue/Green are actually in place of the Yellow plug, as this is a Component cord, where as the Yellow cord is a Composite cord.

• There is no yellow plug (single video in) with this cable. It's component, meaning the colors are broken into the component colors, green, blue, and red. So, I guess the answer to your question is the green, blue, and red represent the yellow plug.
