• I think that they work fine. They sometimes are not as moist as I would prefer though.

• they are wet. but not soaked. with that being said ensure you get the top closed well or they will be dried out before next use. I would also plan on using them within about 30 days as the container is not air tight and they will eventually dry out no matter how well you think the top is closed.
