The solution is to trick the TV. What you need to do is, from your computer, make a folder on a flash drive, put the single image in that folder. Put the flash drive in the TV. Go to the Media input. Scan to the folder and you will see the single image. Click on the image. This is where the TV will show the image and close after 15 minutes. However, if you click play on the remote it will trick the TV into thinking it is showing a slide show with one image. I change the slide show to dissolve. This will fix your problem.

Open the folder, select the image to be displayed. When it opens, hit play on the remote. The TV thinks it is in slide show. I switch the slideshow to dissolve setting and have no problems with shutdown.

Screen Saver Settings: Some TVs have a built-in screen saver or automatic shut-off feature that activates when displaying static images for an extended period to prevent screen burn-in. Check your TV’s settings under “Display” or “Screen Saver” to see if there are options to disable or extend the time before activation. 2. Sleep Timer: You mentioned setting the sleep timer, but ensure it’s configured correctly. If it’s set to 15 minutes, the TV will turn off after that period. Navigate to the settings and confirm the sleep timer settings. 3. Power Saving Features: Some TVs have energy-saving features that may turn off the TV after a certain period of inactivity. Check the "Energy Saving" settings in the menu and see if any options apply. 4. Firmware Updates: Make sure the TV’s software/firmware is up to date. Manufacturers frequently release updates that fix bugs and issues. Check the settings for an option to update the firmware. 5. USB Compatibility Issues: If the thumb drive or the files on it are causing the TV to malfunction, consider trying a different USB drive or format the existing one properly. 6. External Device Interference: If any external devices (e.g., HDMI-connected devices) are connected, they might trigger the TV to turn off. Make sure those devices are also checked or disconnected to see if the issue persists. If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to refer to the user manual or contact Insignia customer support for further assistance.
