I too also use the manual mode on other pressure cookers I own, but this one doesn't seem to have the manual mode. I then pick a preset and then just press Cook Time and adjust up or down. I made soup this evening and adjusted the time on the preset to what was indicated in the cookbook.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Press time cook, then + or - to control minutes. Also, with high cook times it is easier to press a setting first to get you to a number of minutes. Then, press time cook and control with the +and - buttons.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.hit the manual button, then choose the pressure mode, then set the timer. on the 6 qt on though im still lost on the hours and minutes settings, but i only use minutes and the presets anyways
