Yes, the door is exactly 24". You can open up to 30° within 24" walls, but then the thickness of the door hinge come into play. When fully open (@90°), it is 25", you can take out the entire crispers easily now. The door can continue to swing pass 180°! *** Tricks… If you simply pull the fridge forward (toward you) 2" (away from the back wall), you will be able to bypass the door limitation and open the door fully! (As long as the door is outside the walls.) The entire design is very humanely done, extremely quiet, and energy efficient! Sincerely, Steve
